Hidden Happiness; Ultimate Joy
All of our married life I have enjoyed decorating for the seasons and Christmas is by far my all time favorite! That said, I have always wanted bed sheets to coordinate and I have not ever found any I just loved, especially for the price you could pay for them. And I do not do flannel, anything!
But this year, that has all changed!
I tirelessly thought to myself that I would try one last year and if I did not find ‘the set’, I would just quit looking and continue to simplify both my thoughts regarding seasonal decorating and the pieces I use to do such. Low and behold though, in just one, two or three minute search on Amazon (not all things Covid are bad-I use Amazon a whole lot more now and save time not driving to every store in the metroplex searching to no avail for things!) I found the cutest set of sheets.
Now mind you, I am picky. I do not do characters or certain prints and I was very specific regarding the fabric. But I found what I thought would be an adorable set and ordered them knowing if they were not of good quality they at least had free return.
Last night we arrived home late after the basketball game and I was too tired to open the box that I knew they had arrived in, but I woke this morning with great anticipation of opening it. I was not disappointed either.
The sheets are a large print of criss-crossed plaid in red and green. The background color was a perfect winter white that coordinates crisply with the quilt topper and nicely both with the decorative pillows and simple red shams. I can not wait to slip in to these tonight!
They make me so happy just walking thru our bedroom and glancing at them. Happiness is often found in the little things but ultimate joy is found in Christ alone! ~Kourt.

What a great perspective!
